Our Philosophy

Moving From
Data to Direction

We are living in an era of unprecedented health information. Smart rings track our sleep, watches count our steps, and blood panels list hundreds of biomarkers. Yet we have never had less direction on what to actually do with it.

Why We Built SelfHealth

Translating complex biological signals

SelfHealth was born out of frustration. When looking at laboratory blood test results, we are met with obscure abbreviations and reference ranges that induce anxiety rather than action. When we check our sleep stats, we see charts but no guidelines on how to sleep deeper to support muscle synthesis.

We set out to build a platform that acts as a knowledgeable friend, not a doctor. Through our science-backed guides and our iOS app assistant, Aliya, we translate complex health metrics into simple, plain-English steps.

Whether it is resistance training to retain muscle mass after 40 (our Train pillar) or adding soluble fiber and protein pancakes to your breakfast (our Fuel pillar), we focus on actionable science that keeps you vital and strong as you age.

Our Journey & Roadmap

Q2 2024

The Genesis

We started designing the SelfHealth framework, motivated by the challenge of connecting wearable logs (HRV, Sleep) with annual blood chemistry markers.

Q1 2025

Engineering Aliya

Developed and trained the Aliya model to parse laboratory PDF results and explain biomarker ranges in plain English on-device.

Mid 2026

Private Release & Launch

Opening private waitlist registrations and welcoming the first cohort of health optimizers into the iOS app.

Our Core Standards

On-Device Privacy First

Your medical records are yours. SelfHealth processes health metrics on-device wherever possible, keeping your credentials secure.

Science-Backed Content

We ignore fitness fads and quick-fix diets. Every protocol in our Train and Fuel pillars is backed by peer-reviewed clinical research.

Physician Collaboration

We don't replace doctors — we help you talk to them better. Aliya compiles biomarker summaries you can take straight to your next annual checkup.
